UnitedHealthcare Group recently announced that it will be switching pharmacy benefits managers to OptumRx when their contract with Medco Health Solutions expires at the end of 2012.

Participants in Restore’s saliva-based hormone testing program will be interested to learn that Restore Biodiagnostics is upgrading our salivary Progesterone assay to expand the dynamic range of the previous assay used in the assessment of patient Progesterone hormone levels to encompass higher patient Progesterone concentrations.

Comparison studies were performed between Progesterone ELISA and a luminescence immunoassay (LIA).  These studies yielded an excellent correlation between 0.93 and 0.99 using linear regression.
